I took this while hiking up The Watchman Trail climbing steadily as the sky began to shift.
The canyon below was quiet, layered in shadow and texture, when suddenly the clouds parted just enough for light to pour through. It wasnt soft or subtle. It felt intentional. Almost dramatic. As if the sky itself was making a statement.
The contrast between deep, moody blues and that fiery band of gold along the horizon stopped me in my tracks. Zion has a way of doing that reminding you that you are small, yet fully present in something magnificent.
This wasnt just a view from the trail.
It was a moment where effort met awe.
