Kolob Terrace reveals its beauty slowly.
The red sandstone layers stretch wide across the landscape, textured and weathered by time.
But in this moment, it was the pale summit that caught my breath illuminated against gathering clouds, glowing softly above the deeper reds below.
Im always drawn to contrast warm against cool, shadow against light, strength softened by sky. Here, the land felt grounded and expansive at once. The brush in the foreground anchored the scene, while the illuminated peak pulled my eyes upward.
Kolob doesnt demand attention.
It earns it.
