Kolob Terrace has a way of revealing its layers slowly.
In this moment, the red sandstone ridges glowed warmly beneath a shifting sky, but it was the pale summit rising above them that captured my attention. Light moved across its surface like a quiet hand revealing texture, depth, and time etched into the stone.
Im always drawn to contrast the warmth of red earth against the cool tones of shadowed rock. Strength balanced by softness. Here, the land felt both grounded and elevated, anchored in desert brush yet reaching confidently toward the sky.
Kolob doesnt shout.
It stands.
