Description
In Monument Valley, even what is no longer present still shapes the land.
This dry riverbed winds through red earth, tracing the path of water that once moved freely here. Though the river has long since faded, its presence lingers carved into the soil, guiding the eye toward the monument rising beyond.
I was drawn to the quiet movement in this scene. The way the earth curves and flows before meeting the steady permanence of stone. It feels like a conversation between motion and stillness between what passes and what endures.
The monument stands unmoved.
The river leaves its echo.
